UUCP Copy Protocol
The UUCP (Unix-to-Unix CoPy) program was developed at AT&T Bell Labs. UUCP is a collection of computer programs and protocols allowing remote execution of commands and transfer of files, email and netnews between computers. AT&T Bell Labs distributed UUCP with the UNIX operating system one year later.
