The 50Kbps ARPANET Is Tested With 4 Nodes
Backbone:50Kbps ARPANET, Hosts:4
ARPANET was configured with four IMP network nodes running at 50Kbps connecting
four universities using the Network Control Protocol (NCP) to transfer data.
This allowed communications between hosts running on the same network. The first
packets sent by Charley Kline at UCLA as he tried logging on, resulted in the system
crashing as the letter G of LOGIN was entered.
